Squishy deluges

The water emanates eloquently….                     The beams of light dance graciously on its chests…..

Bending down I heed the gurgling of the ripples…. like the way I used to hear his heartbeats keeping my ears on his bosom….

Sensing the soft flow I try to make them intermit their speed…but they flux through, in between my fingers…..

…..like the way I failed to resist him from making me a lone soul……

  1. Yes i got the comparison part…that was obvious and was already mentioned as part of the 1st comment on this post! … But it also made me want to feel the water flowing through my fingers…so i chose to go on that tangent 😁

  3. Not sure why, but I imagined someone drowning someone when I read this. Like it was like an ode to a lover that was being literally drowned by another. I’m certain it’s just me, but that’s how it hit me when I first read it. #intheairtonight
